The height is =54.42m

Explanation:

The spring constant is k=90kgs2

The compression is x=43m

The potential energy in the spring is

PE=1290(43)2=80J

This potential energy will be converted to kinetic energy when the spring is released and to potential energy of the ball

KEball=12mu2

Let the height of the ball be =h

Then ,

The potential energy of the ball is PEball=mgh

PEball=80=0.159.8h

h=8010.159.8

=54.42m
