The distance is =29.4m

Explanation:

Resolving in the vertical direction uarr^+

We apply the equation of motion

s=ut+1/2at^2

s=0

The initial velocity is u=u_0sintheta=24sin(1/12pi)

The acceleratio is a=-g

Therefore,

24sin(1/12pi)*t-1/2g t^2 =0

t=0 which is the starting time and the time to land is

t=2*24sin(1/12pi)/g

=1.27s

Resolving in the horizontal direction rarr^+

We apply the equation of motion

d=ucostheta*t

d=24cos(1/12pi)*1.27=29.4m
