An adult ticket to a museum costs $3 more than a children's ticket. When 200 adult tickets and 100 children's tickets are sold, the total revenue is $2100. What is the cost of a children's ticket?

Let the price of a children's ticket be x and the price of an adult ticket be y.

y = x + 3
100x + 200y = 2100

Substitute equation 1 into equation 2.

100x + 200(x + 3) = 2100

100x + 200x + 600 = 2100

300x = 1500

x = 5

y = x + 3

y = 5 + 3

y = 8

Hence, children's tickets cost $5 and adult tickets cost $8.

Hopefully this helps!
