Explanation:

The fungus plant body is termed mycelium. In some fungi like * Mucor , the mycelium is made up of much branched hyphae forming a reticulum or network. The hyphae are multinucleate and aseptate . The whole mycelium is thus a multinucleate cell. Such cell is termed coenocyte.*

The myceliuum in other fungi like Penicillium , is multicellular and septate. Each cell is uninucleate.

Fungi thus can be unicellular (coenocytic) or multicellular.
