N. America has both temperate and tropical rainforests.
Explanation:
N. America has both temperate and tropical rainforests. There is temperate rainforest in the Pacific North West of the US, extending into Canada.
There are also tropical rainforests in the southern portion of the continent. Mexico contains tropical rainforest as does a very small portion of southern Florida.
In temperate rainforests , the amount of precipitation is high but the temperatures are lower than what is observed with tropical rainforests. Temperatures do not normally rise higher than 80F. Olympic National Park is temperate rainforest.
