At the synapse, do the glands secrete hormones, do motor neurons touch sensory neurons, do negative electric impulses charge across, are chemicals released, or do the dendrites touch each other?

The Fourth option...
Explanation:
1: Glands DO secrete hormones, but the synapse has nothing to do with it...
2: Debatable at a certain level, but the general view is that Sensory Neurons are not directly connected to Motor Neurons: there are Interneurons in between (in your Brain)
3: Apart from the Chemical Synapse, there ARE Electrical synapses..
4: Correct: The Transmitting Neuron can release Neurotransmitters (e.g. Dopamine, Serotonine) into the synapse to trigger the receptors on the other (receiving) Neuron.
5: Dendrites do NOT touch each other....
