Only very large telescopes can resolve individual stars in other galaxies.
Explanation:
Large ground based or space based telescopes are used to photograph other galaxies and stars are resolved.
Light from distant galaxies are very faint.So large telescopes with long time exposure will give good photographs of Galaxies.
resolving power is related to aperture and wave length.
