Explanation:
The original GI Bill was incorporated right after World War 2. It was intended to help veterans further their education and to induce banks to loan them money to buy their first homes by guaranteeing the loans. There is no greater example of this than Leavittown, PA, built by William J. Leavitt. He built thousands of low cost homes all of which more or less looked exactly like the one next to it.
