How do you calculate molar mass? For example, what is the molar mass of Cu(NH_4)_4SO_4Cu(NH4)4SO4?

Well, this is simplicity itself; add the atomic mass of copper plus the atomic mass of sulfur...............plus 16 times the atomic mass of hydrogen.

Explanation:

"Molecular mass of "CuSO_4*(NH_4)_4Molecular mass of CuSO4(NH4)4 ==

(63.55+32.06+4xx16.00+4xx14.01+16xx1.00794)*g*mol^-1~=250*g*mol^-1(63.55+32.06+4×16.00+4×14.01+16×1.00794)gmol1250gmol1

All I have done is to sum the molar mass of each individual element, and weighted according to its occurrence in the formula. Are you happy with this?
