There are basically two ways to go about this:

Or:
Use ratio's. Set Sales 2007 to 100%, and get the number for 2008:

404729100%=571320X%

Cross-multiply:
404729×X%=571320×100%
X=57132000404729=141.16%

which is a 41.16% increase over the 100% we started with.
