How do you convert L to millimeters?

Think of a large bottle of water. Usually it is 1 liter which is equal to 1000ml! Usually a small bottle is 500ml, so the large would be 1000ml which (is one liter). Ex. If you have 2L to ml = 2000ml

You mean "litres" to "millilitres".

Explanation:

The "milli" prefix -= 1xx10^-3.

And thus 1 "millilitre" -= 1xx10^-3*L; i.e. 1*mL=(1*L)/1000, or 10^3*mL=1*L.
