${sec}^{- 1} (\sqrt{2}) = \frac{π}{4}$ $sec^-1(sqrt2) = pi/4$

Let $sec^-1(sqrt2) = theta :. sec theta = sqrt 2$

We know $cos(pi/4)=1/sqrt 2 or 1/sec(pi/4)=1/sqrt 2$ or

$sec(pi/4)= sqrt2 :. sec theta = sec (pi/4)$
