Then the other three integers would be: $x + 2$ , $x + 4$ and $x + 6$

Adding these four integers together gives:

$x + x + 2 + x + 4 + x + 6 = 18$

Combining like terms and then solving gives:

$4x + 12 = 18$

$4x + 12 - 12 = 18 - 12$

$4x = 6$

$(4x)/4 = 6/4$

$x = 3/2$
