How do you find (f−g)(x) when f(x)=6x2+4x−7 and g(x)=2x−7x2+11?

Simply subtract the two functions.
(f−g)(x)=6x2+4x−7−(2x−7x2+11)
=6x2+4x−7−2x+7x2−11
=13x2+2x−18
