Switch $x$ and $y$ s.

$x= -2y - 7$

$x + 7 = -2y$

$y = -1/2x - 7/2$

Thus $g^-1(x) = -1/2x - 7/2$ . We can confirm that this is indeed a reflection over the line $y = x$ by graphing.
