The line through (4,2)(4,2) and (4,5)(4,5) is vertical and as such has an undefined slope

Explanation:

For two points (x_1,y_1)(x1,y1) and (x_2,y_2)(x2,y2) the slope is given by

m=(Delta y)/(Delta x) = (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

if (x_2-x_1) != 0

but in this case (x_2-x_1) = (4-4) = 0
and therefore the slope is undefined.
