By slope I assume you mean gradient?

Explanation:

We know the general form of a straight line graph is

y=mx+c

where m is the gradient
and c is the y-intercept.

therefore we have the equation y=10/3 x-12

Referring back to general equation we can deduce that

c = -12 and m=10/3

m is the gradient (slope) -> gradient = 10/3
