How do you find the slope of the line (1/2, -1); (3, -3/4)?

x_1 = 1/2
y_1 = -1

x_2 = 3
y_2 = (-3)/4

m = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

m = ((-3/4) - (-1))/(3 - (1/2))

m = ((-3/4) - (-1))/(3 - (1/2))

m = ((-3/4) +1)/(3 -1/2)

m = (1/4 )/(5/2)

m = 1/4xx 2/5 = 1/10
