How do you find the slope of the line passing through the given points: (-6,4) and (2,4)?

The slope of a straight line for any two points, (x_1,y_1)(x1,y1) and (x_2,y_2)(x2,y2), on the line
is given by
(Delta y)/(Delta x) = (y_2 - y_1)/(x_2 - x_1)

or for this particular example
slope = (4-4)/(2+6) = 0
(the line is a horizontal line)
