$x-"intercept"=5/2$

The equation of a straight line is

$y=mx+c--(1)$

$m="slope/gradient"$

$c=y-"intercept"$

$2x+y=5$

$=>y=-2x+5-$

comparing with $(1)$

$:.m=-2,$

$y-"intercept"=5$

The x-intercept is when $y=0$

from $(1)$
