Slope of a line joining two points $x_{1}, y_{1} and x_{2}, y_{2}$ $x_1, y_1 and x_2 , y_2$

is $\frac{y_{2} - y_{1}}{x_{2}_x_{1}}$ $(y_2 -y_1)/(x_2 _x_1)$

Accordingly, $m = - \frac{1}{3} = \frac{3 - r}{6 - 9}$ $m= -1/3 =(3-r)/(6-9)$

Solve for 'r', cross multiply first

$(- 1) (- 3) = 3 (3 - r) \to 3 = 3 (3 - r) \to 1 = 3 - r$ $(-1)(-3)= 3(3-r) -> 3= 3(3-r) -> 1= 3-r$

$r = 2$ $r=2$
