x-intercept: $(-9)$
y-intercept: $6$

Assuming the equation form we are looking for is linear
then the slope is constant

Slope between the general point $(x,y)$ and $(-6,2)$ is the same as between $(-3,4)$ and $(-6,2)$

$(y-2)/(x+6) = (4-2)/(-3+6) = 2/3$

$rArr 3(y-2) = 2(x+6)$

$rArr 3y-6 = 2x+12$

$rArr 3y = 2x+18$

When $y=0$ (the x-intercept) $3(0)=2x+18 rarr x=-9$

When $x=0$ (the y-intercept) $3y=2(x)+18 rarr y= 6$
