x-intercept is -5 and y-intercept is 5/4

Explanation:

If one has to find x-intercept, one should put y=0 and solve for x.

Hence as 2x+(-8y)=-10 and putting y=0

we get 2x=-10 or x=-5

and to find y-intercept, one should put x=0 and solve for y.

Hence as 2x+(-8y)=-10 and putting x=0

we get -8y=-10 or y=(-10)/(-8)=5/4

Hence x-intercept is -5 and y-intercept is 5/4
