#x#-intercept is #-5# and #y#-intercept is #5/4#

Explanation:

If one has to find #x#-intercept, one should put #y=0# and solve for #x#.

Hence as #2x+(-8y)=-10# and putting #y=0#

we get #2x=-10# or #x=-5#

and to find #y#-intercept, one should put #x=0# and solve for #y#.

Hence as #2x+(-8y)=-10# and putting #x=0#

we get #-8y=-10# or #y=(-10)/(-8)=5/4#

Hence #x#-intercept is #-5# and #y#-intercept is #5/4#
