The $y$ $y$ -intercept is when $x = 0$ $x=0$ and the $x$ $x$ -intercept is when $y = 0$ $y=0$

To cut a corner you may have noticed that all numbers are divisable by $3$ $3$ . So you get:

$5 x - 3 y = 9$ $5x-3y=9$

Set $x = 0$ $x=0$
$5 \cdot 0 - 3 y = 9 \to y = - 3 \to (0, - 3)$ $5*0-3y=9->y=-3->(0,-3)$

Set $y = 0$ $y=0$
