x-intercept = 5; y-intercept = -4

As mentioned it is on a axis, thus the coordinates of the intercept point will be (X,0) for x -axis and and (0,Y) for y -axis.

This being said, to find the intercept from the equation of a line, we just need to put the value of one variable to 0 to get the intercept for other variable

So in the equation above:

let x=0 ;
we get 05y=20 ;or
y=4
thus y-intercept is 4
