X - intercept is -7/6
Y - intercept is 7

Slope intercept form is the equation y=mx+b. This equation is the most basic (and in my opinion) the most important graphing equation. y and x are the x and y coordinate points, m is the slope if the line, and b is the y-intercept.

To rearrange this equation:
6x-y=-7
-y=-6x-7
y=6x+7
As you can see, 7 is in the place of b therefore making it the y intercept.

Next we input y as 0 because if it is an x intercept then it wont move vertically.
0=6x+7
-7=6x
-7/6=x
Therefore #-7/6 is the X intercept.
