Solving the equation.

Explanation:

First of all we can solve the equation

2x-2y=6
-2y=6-2x
2y=2x-6
y=x-3.

Now we are ready to plot the points. Every time you select a value for x the corresponding value for y is x-3.
So you can select the x you want and subtract 3. For example

(3,0)
(7,4)
(9.32, 6,32)
(-31, -34)

are all valid points for the plot, because the only constraint is to subtract 3 from x.
