Solving the equation.

Explanation:

First of all we can solve the equation

#2x-2y=6#
#-2y=6-2x#
#2y=2x-6#
#y=x-3#.

Now we are ready to plot the points. Every time you select a value for #x# the corresponding value for #y# is #x-3#.
So you can select the #x# you want and subtract 3. For example

#(3,0)#
#(7,4)#
#(9.32, 6,32)#
#(-31, -34)#

are all valid points for the plot, because the only constraint is to subtract 3 from #x#.
