How do you graph 3x-6y=12 using the intercepts?

I tried this:

We find the coordinates of the two intercepts by seting:

x=0 in our equation.
We then get: 3*0-6y=12
and: y=-12/6=-2

y=0 in our equation.
We then get: 3x-6*0=12
and: x=12/3=4

So our intercepts have coordinates:
(0,-2)
(4,0)

These two points are enough to plot the straight line described by our equation:
