Rearrange the equation in terms of y.

Subtract 3x from both sides:

- y = -3x + 3

Multiply by -1

y = 3x - 3

The y axis intercept is -3 this occurs when x is 0

Rearranging in terms of x

x = (y + 3)/3

The x axis intercept occurs when y = 0

x = (0 + 3)/3 = 1

The coordinates for graphing are:

( 0 , -3 ) and ( 1 , 0 )
