How do you graph the equation `y=2x-7`?

You need a minimum of three points to plot a straight line.
`y=2x-7` the `y` intercept is (0,-7)
When `y=0, 2x=7 so => x=3.5` this gives (3.5,0)
Then pick another value for `x` and substitute it into the equation to get a `y` value.
Plot these three points and draw a straight line through them.
You are often given end points for you to plot the graph between so you only draw the line between these points.
