Explanation:

The y-intercept is the value of y when x=0
For x=4y=4 this means that the y-intercept is 1,
giving the intercept point (x,y)=(0,1).

Similarly, the x-intercept is the value of x when y=0
For x=4y=4 this means that the x-intercept is 4,
giving the intercept point (x,y)=(4,0).
