$y = 2 x - 3$ $y=2x-3$ is in slope-intercept form with

A y-intercept of $- 3$ $-3$ means that we have a point on the line at $(0, - 3)$ $(0,-3)$

A slope of $2$ $2$ means that for every $1$ $1$ unit we move in the positive $x$ $x$ direction, the corresponding point on the line will go up $2$ $2$ in the positive $y$ $y$ direction.

Therefore we can deduce the points:
$XXX (0, - 3)$ $color(white)("XXX")(0,-3)$
$XXX (1, - 1)$ $color(white)("XXX")(1,-1)$
