We graph a line with slope $-1$ , passing through the point $y=2$ on the y-axis. It passes through the point $x=2$ on the x-axis.

Slope intercept form is $y=mx+c$ , where $m$ is the gradient (slope) and $c$ is the y-intercept.

The equation is already written in slope-intercept form, so we can simply read the slope and y-intercept: $m=-1$ and $c=2$ .
