$5+4^2-(6-3)=48$

As far as I'm concerned, there's no systematic approach to this, you kinda just have to play around with the parenthesis and see what you get.

I tried this and noticed if we have the expression

$35+4^2-(6-3)$

This will be equal to $48$ because we can simplify the parenthesis and $4^2$ to now have

$35+16-3$

This is the same thing as $51-3$ , or $48$ , which is what we have on the other side of the equal sign.

Therefore, our equation should look like this:

$5+4^2-(6-3)=48$
