$- 2 \sqrt{5}$ $-2sqrt5$

Notice there are two terms, each has $\sqrt{5}$ $sqrt5$ which can be divided out as a common factor.

$\sqrt{5} - 3 \sqrt{5} = \sqrt{5} (1 - 3)$ $sqrt5 - 3sqrt5 = sqrt5(1 - 3)$

This gives $\sqrt{5} \times - 2$ $sqrt 5xx -2$ which can be written as $- 2 \sqrt{5}$ $-2sqrt5$
