Solve equation (2) for $x$ $x$

Substitute $y = - 5 - x$ $y=-5-x$ in equation (1)

$3 x - 2 (- 5 - x) = 0$ $3x-2(-5-x)=0$
$3 x + 10 + 2 x = 0$ $3x+10+2x=0$
