x + 7y = 33x+7y=33

x = color(red)(33 - 7yx=337y .......equation (1)(1)
3x - 2y = 73x2y=7........equation (2)(2)

Substituting equation (1)(1) in (2)(2) to find yy

3color(red)((33 - 7y)) - 2y = 73(337y)2y=7

99 - 21y- 2y = 79921y2y=7
-23y= 7-9923y=799
-23y= -9223y=92
color(blue)(y= 4y=4

Substituting yy in equation (1)(1)to find xx
x =33 - 7yx=337y

x =33 - 7.4 = 33 - 28x=337.4=3328
color(blue)(x =5x=5

The solution for the system of equations is:
color(blue)( x = 5 , y=4x=5,y=4
