First take LCM on both the sides

$\to \frac{8 x + 35 = 3}{10}$ $-> (8x + 35 = 3)/10$

Now you can eliminate the LCM

$\to 8 x + 35 = 3$ $-> 8x + 35 = 3$

$\to 8 x = 3 - 35$ $-> 8x = 3 - 35$

$\to 8 x = - 32$ $-> 8x = -32$

Divide both sides by 8

$-> cancel8^1*x/(cancel8) = cancel(-32)^-4/(cancel8)$
