If we loo carefully we can see that we can eliminate 3y in the second equation by 3y in the first equation.

Add the equations

(4x3y=15)+(6x+3y=17)

2x=32

x=322=16

So,substitute the value of x to the first equation:

4(16)3y=15

643y=15

3y=15+64

3y=79

y=793

So, x=16,y=793
