Add the two equations together gives you

$11 x = 3 \Rightarrow x = \frac{3}{11}$ $11x=3=>x=3/11$

hence $y = - \frac{117}{77}$ $y=-117/77$

The solution of the system is $(\frac{3}{11}, - \frac{117}{77})$ $(3/11,-117/77)$
