$x=1 and y=-2$

Here ,

$3x-2y=7....to(1)$

$5x+y=3......to(2)$

Multiplying eqn. $(2)$ by $2$ and adding:

$i.e. (1)+2xx(2)$ we get

$3x-cancel(2y)=7$
$ul(10x+cancel(2y)=6$
$13x+0=13$

$:.x=1$

Subst. $x=1$ into $eqn.(2)$ we get

$5(1)+y=3$

$:.5+y=3$

$:.y=3-5$

$:.y=-2$

Hence,

$x=1 and y=-2$
