We get

$\frac{2 (x - 1) - 3 (x - 1)}{6} = 6$ $(2(x-1)-3(x-1))/6=6$

Now we multiply both sides of the equation by $6$ $6$ .

$2 x - 2 - 3 x + 3 = 36$ $2x-2-3x+3=36$
