How do you write sums in expanded form?

(Unfortunately this could be interpreted in a couple of different ways; I'm going to assume that you mean:

given a summation notated expression
express it as an expanded sum

Example
sum_(i=1)^5 ((2i^2)/(i+1))

= 2/3 + 8/3 + 18/4 + 32/5 + 50/6
