15=3+6x15=3+6x

or

15=3+6x+615=3+6x+6

or

15=3+6x+3615=3+6x+36

Read to see how that is

Explanation:

Let the number be xx

more than is addition(++)

times is multiplication(*)

So six times a number is 6*x=6x6x=6x

Three more than six times a number is 3+6x3+6x

:.Fifteen equals three more than six times a number is

rArr15=3+6x

With the 'and six', I believe you simply add 6 to the above if it is not together. Meaning we would have;

15=3+6x+6

If it is together, then that means six times a number and six would be 6*(x+6)=6x+36

In that case, it will be 15=3+6x+36
