Internal lining of small intestine has finger like projections called villi. Surface of villi is lined by cells with microvilli.
Explanation:
Both villi and microvilli increase surface area of small intestine many folds for absorption of nutrients.
Moreover, inside the villi there are blood capillaries and lymphatic vessels where nutrients are loaded after absorption.
Monosaccharides and amino acids enter in the blood stream while fatty acids and glycerol enter in the lymphatic system.
