Explanation:
DNA replicates with the semi-conservative way. I.E. 1 double stranded DNA (dsDNA) can form 2 double stranded DNA molecules when it is replicated. Each one of the two strands of the initial dsDNA is used as a template to form a new strand and eventually end up with a new dsDNA molecule formed from each of the two initial DNA strands.
