Well, you could use a base bath...........followed by an acid rinse.....
Explanation:
Or you give the funnel a good rinse and shake with methylene chloride, and then rinse with copious ethanol (the rinsings go to halogenated waste).
Failing that treat the funnel with hot water with detergent added.....
Most of the time you can wipe off excess grease with a tissue........
