How to convert between measurement units?

Let's first do the prefixes:

`k` as in `km` stands for `1000`
So `2 km=2*1000m=2000m`
(and 1k$ can get you a nice party)

It gets harder when we get to square or cubic measures:
`1km^2=(1000m)^2=1000000m^2`
`1km^3=(1000m)^3=1000000000m^3`

When you convert from metric to and from American units it gets even harder:
`1ft=0.305m`
`1sqft=(0.305m)^2=0.093m^2`
So there are approximately 11 sqft in a square meter.
