How to find the x and y-intercept given 5y=5x+15?

The x-intercept is the value of x on the x-axis where the line represented by the equation crosses the x-axis.
For all points on the x-axis, y=0
5y=5x+15
becomes 5(0)=5x+15 on the x-axis.
x=-3
The x-intercept is (-3)

Similarly for the y-intercept
5y = 5(0)+15
y=3
The y-intercept is 3
