The y-intercept is 2, and the point is (0,2). The x-intercept is 6 and the point is (6,0)

To find the y-intercept, set x equal to zero.

x+3y=6

0+3y=6

3y=6

y=63

y=2

To find the x-intercept, set y equal to zero.

x+3y=6

x+30=6

x=6

graph{x+3y=-6 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
